Deepavali (Dewali)
Today is Deepavali which is the Hindu 'Festival of lights'. It's also a public holiday due to the large Indian (Tamil) population of Singapore (around 400-000 - 10%).
We are off to ION for lunch, then on to Little India to see what's going on for Festival
